About the Inn

The Dutch Iris Inn is a beautiful 1812 New England home set on three acres in the historic section of Granby, CT. The home was built in 1812 on land owned by James Dibble and Isaac Phelps. Today, owners Bill and Nancy Ross treasure the history of the house, and many photos, artifacts and furniture are still present throughout the home for you to enjoy. You are invited to recapture the history of this beautiful home as you visit.

While the integrity of this wonderful house still remains, the bedrooms have been renovated to suit the needs of our guests while maintaining the beautiful historic features in each room. Rediscover an era gone by, while enjoying the comfort of modern amenities. Our six distinctly designed rooms have private baths, and there are jet tubs and original fireplaces in select rooms.

We offer modern conveniences including wireless internet, in-room digital cable TV, access to refrigerator and microwave in our Breakfast Room, and complimentary hot and cold beverages at all times. Guests also have complimentary access to a nearby fitness facility with state of the art equipment, rock climbing wall, and several pools.
